This summer live a unique immersive experience in a vineyard along the Appia Antica, just 20 minutes from the historic centre of Rome. As soon as night falls, Vinea Lucens invites you to enter a world animated by light shows, sounds, images and flavours. Following the lights between the rows of vines, you can discover the rural traditions, the Via Appia Antica and the legends of the villages of the Agro Romano.

Cross the boundary between the real and the imaginary and enter a magical setting. Stroll between the rows of vines and listen, with the help of the audio guide, to the Roman and Italic legends interwoven with the stories of a family that has been cultivating vines with passion for more than 100 years.

Enjoy the fruits of the vine and culminate your experience with the sommelier, tasting a glass of wine. Immerse yourself in the beauty of this place full of history and mystery!

Opening times

The event is held in the evening after sunset, from Friday to Sunday.

Duration of the visit: around 45 minutes/1 hour.
Visits depart every 10 minutes, based on the time band purchased.

We recommend booking the visit in advance in order to obtain the desired time band and avoid the tickets being sold out.

N.B. Based on the time period, the starting times of visits will vary, depending on the time of sunset.

About the tour

The two-kilometre route winds its way through the vineyard and lasts around 45 minutes/1 hour.

To fully enjoy the experience of Vinea Lucens, we recommend that you wear comfortable closed shoes. The visit is conducted outdoors, following a path marked out by lights that will take you through rows of vines, amidst olive trees and kiwi plants and across a rustic bridge, leading you along a stretch of the Via Appia Antica.
